Female Footballer - Simone Laudehr, German footballer

Simone Laudehr (born 12 July 1986) is a German footballer. She plays as a central midfielder or winger for FCR 2001 Duisburg and the German national team.

Laudehr began her career at the age of three at FC Tegernheim. In 1996, she joined SC Regensburg, before playing for FC Bayern Munich for one season. At Bayern she made her Bundesliga debut. Laudehr transferred to FCR 2001 Duisburg in 2004, where she was runner-up in the Bundesliga five times, including four seasons in a row from 2005 to 2008. She won the German Cup twice with Duisburg and claimed the UEFA Women's Cup with the club in the 2008–09 season.






Female Footballer - Annike Krahn, German footballer

Annike Krahn (born 1 July 1985) is a German footballer. She plays in a centre back position for FCR 2001 Duisburg and the German national team.

Krahn started playing football at the age of four. She played at SV Westfalia Weitmar 09, SV Waldesrand Linden, TuS Harpen and SG Wattenscheid 09 at youth level, before joining FCR 2001 Duisburg in 2004. Krahn was runner-up in the Bundesliga five times with Duisburg, including four seasons in a row from 2005 to 2008. She won the German Cup twice with the club and claimed the UEFA Women's Cup with Duisburg in the 2008–09 season.

During qualification for the UEFA Women's Champions League against Glasgow City in August 2010, Krahn tore the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee. She missed the entire 2010–11 Bundesliga season.

Female Footballer - Babett Peter, German footballer

Babett Peter (born on 12 May 1988 in Oschatz, Saxony) is a German footballer. She plays as a defender for 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam and the German national team.

Peter graduated from the Potsdam Sports Gymnasium in June 2007, receiving her Abitur diploma. In October 2007, she became a member of the sports support group of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Since being five years old, Peter suffers from facial nerve paralysis. At the age of 15, she had an operation which improved her condition.




Female Footballer - Saskia Bartusiak, German footballer

Saskia Bartusiak (born September 9, 1982) is a German footballer. She plays in a centre back position for 1. FFC Frankfurt and the German national team.

Bartusiak began her career at FV 09 Eschersheim. In 1996, she left the club to join FSV Frankfurt where she made her Bundesliga debut. After five years, she transferred to local rivals 1. FFC Frankfurt in 2005. Playing in central defence, Bartusiak has been an important player for FFC Frankfurt's success in the following years. She won two Bundesliga championships and three German Cup titles at the club. In the 2005–06 and 2007–08 season she also won the UEFA Women's Cup with Frankfurt.

Female Footballer - Bianca Schmidt, German footballer

Bianca Schmidt (born 23 January 1990) is a German footballer. She plays as a wing back for Turbine Potsdam and the German national team.

Schmidt began her career at the age of seven with TSV 1880 Gera-Zwötzen. The club changed its name to 1. FC Gera 03 after a merger in 2003. During her entire youth career up to Under-15 level in the 2005–06 season, she played as the only girl on the team and only knew women's football from state selection squads and junior national teams.






Female Footballer - Desirée Schumann, German football goalkeeper

Desirée Schumann (born 6 February 1990 in Berlin) is a German football goalkeeper. She currently plays for 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam.

Her career began at the Berlin based club VfB Hermsdorf. On April 20, 2006 she made her debut in the German under 17 national team. She then moved to Potsdam for the 2006–07 season and played mostly in the reserve team who plays in the second division. On November 11, 2007, Schumann made her debut in the first team an a Bundesliga match against arch rivals 1. FFC Frankfurt.

In April 2011 she announced her transfer to FFC Frankfurt.





Female Footballer - Lyudmyla Pekur, Ukrainian football forward

Lyudmyla Pekur ( 6 January 1981) is a Ukrainian football forward, currently playing for Zvezda Perm. She previously played for Lehenda Chernihiv and Zhytlobud-1 Kharkiv in the Ukrainian league and Kubanochka, Nadezhda Noginsk, Rossiyanka and Energiya Voronezh in the Russian league. She first played the UEFA Women's Cup in 2004 with Zhytlobud-1.

She is a member of the Ukrainian national team. In the 2009 European Championship she scored the winner in Ukraine's victory over the host Finland, sealing Ukraine's first win in an official women's football international tournament.
