Female Footballer - Viola Odebrecht, German footballer

Viola Odebrecht (born 11 February 1983) is a German footballer who currently plays for 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam.

In 2005 Odebrecht won the UEFA Women's Cup with 1.FFC Turbine Potsdam, the team for which she signed again for the 2008/09 season.

In 2003 she was a member of the World Cup winning team who went on to take the bronze medal at the Athens Olympics 2004.

After a six year hiatus, Odebrecht returned to the German national side in a Euro 2013 qualifying match against Romania on 22 October, 2011.







Female Footballer - Martina Müller, German footballer

Martina Müller (born April 18, 1980) is a German footballer. She plays as a striker for VfL Wolfsburg and the German national team.

Müller had played at several smaller clubs at youth level, before joining the reigning German champions FSV Frankfurt in 1998. Because many of club's star players, such as Birgit Prinz and Sandra Smisek, had left that summer, Müller immediately became a regular starter and helped the team avoid relegation. After two years, she moved to SC 07 Bad Neuenahr, where she played for four seasons. In 2005, she joined VfL Wolfsburg, at a time when the club had just been relegated to the second division. With 36 goals, Müller was the second Bundesliga top-scorer the following season, helping Wolfsburg to achieve immediate promotion back to the German top flight.

Female Footballer - Dzsenifer Marozsán, German footballer

Dzsenifer Marozsán (born 18 April 1992) is a German footballer of Hungarian descent. She currently plays for 1. FFC Frankfurt.

She is the youngest ever player to play in the German Bundesliga making her debut with 14 years and 7 months, as well as the Bundesliga's youngest goal scorer at 15 years and 4 months.


 





Female Footballer - Almuth Schult, German goalkeeper

Almuth Schult (born February 9, 1991) is a German footballer. She plays for Magdeburger FFC and the German national team as a goalkeeper.

At the age of five, Schult begann her career at her local football club FC SG Gartow, before moving to Hamburger SV in 2007. She joined Magdeburger FFC in 2008, where she played in the third-tier Regionalliga. At Magdeburg Schult became a regular starter and achieved promotion with her team to the second Bundesliga, where she played two full seasons. In 2011, Schult signed a three year contract with Bundesliga side SC 07 Bad Neuenahr.

Female Footballer - Linda Bresonik, German footballer

Linda Bresonik (born 7 December 1983) is a German footballer. She plays as a midfielder or wing back for FCR 2001 Duisburg and the German national team.

Bresonik began her career at the age of five at TuS 84/10 Essen, before moving to Grün-Weiß Schönebeck in 1995. She joined FCR 2001 Duisburg in 2000 and made her Bundesliga debut for the club. In the 2004–05 season, Duisburg finished runner-up in the league. After a falling out with the club, Bresonik transferred to Bundesliga side SC 07 Bad Neuenahr in 2005, but she only appeared in five matches there. One year later she moved to SG Essen-Schönebeck, where she played for two seasons.

In 2008, Bresonik returned to FCR 2001 Duisburg. During her second stint at the club, she had her biggest success at club level, winning the UEFA Women's Cup in the 2008–09 season. She also won the German Cup twice with Duisburg and finished runner-up in the 2009–10 Bundesliga season.





Female Footballer - Alexandra Popp, German footballer

Alexandra Popp (born 6 April 1991) is a German footballer. She plays as a striker for FCR 2001 Duisburg and the German national team.

Popp started her career at FC Silschede, before moving to 1. FFC Recklinghausen. She joined the Bundesliga side FCR 2001 Duisburg in 2008. She had also been approached by French champions Olympique Lyonnais at the time, but chose Duisburg. Popp made her Bundesliga debut in September 2008 against Herforder SV and scored her first two goals three weeks later in a 8–0 win over TSV Crailsheim.

In her first year at Duisburg, Popp won the Double: the 2009 UEFA Women's Cup and the 2009 German Cup. She was awarded the 2009 Fritz Walter medal in silver as the year's second best female junior player. One year later, she again claimed the German Cup title and finished runner-up with Duisburg in the 2009–10 Bundesliga season. Because Duisburg had major injury worries during the 2010–11 season, Popp played the majority of matches at left back.

Lena Lotzen is a German football midfielder, currently playing for Bayern Munich in Germany's Frauen Bundesliga.

With 5 goals she was the top scorer of the Germany Under-19 national team that won the 2011 U-19 European Championship.

  

 



Female Footballer - Melanie Behringer, German footballer

Melanie Behringer (born 18 November 1985) is a German footballer. She plays as a winger or attacking midfielder for 1. FFC Frankfurt and the German national team.

Behringer started her career at SpVgg Utzenfeld and FC Hausen. In 2003, she joined SC Freiburg. She made her Bundesliga debut for Freiburg and played at the club for five seasons. For the 2008–09 season, Behringer transferred to FC Bayern Munich and finished second in the Bundesliga table in her first year in Munich. After two seasons, Behringer joined league rivals 1. FFC Frankfurt in 2010. She won the 2011 German Cup with Frankfurt, defeating 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in the final.
