Kaylyn Kyle, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the W-League

Kaylyn Kyle (born 6 October 1988) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder for Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the W-League. She is also a member of Canada national women's soccer team

Kyle has represented Canada at the U-17 and U-20 youth teams. She has participated at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup twice in 2006 and 2008. In 2008, she won her first cap for the Senior Team in a 4-0 loss to the United States.

Melanie Lynn Booth (born 24 August 1984) is a defender who plays for Vancouver Whitecaps.

Booth was born in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

Kelly Parker, Canadian soccer midfielder who plays for Atlanta Beat

Kelly Parker (born 8 March 1981) is a Canadian soccer midfielder who plays for Atlanta Beat and the Canadian national team.

Prior to joining SC Freiburg, Parker played for Sky Blue FC of Women's Professional Soccer, UTEP Miners, Ottawa Fury and F.C. Indiana.

Parker played for W-League winners Buffalo Flash in 2010 and was named MVP after scoring 11 goals in seven games. This was the second time she had won the award, having done so with Ottawa Fury in 2004. She is the only player to have won the award twice. In August 2010 Parker returned to Sky Blue FC, where she had played in 2009.




Karina LeBlanc, soccer goalkeeper currently playing for the Philadelphia Independence of Women's Professional Soccer

Karina LeBlanc (born 30 March 1980, in Atlanta, Georgia) is a soccer goalkeeper currently playing for the Philadelphia Independence of Women's Professional Soccer and is a member of the Canadian National Team. She holds both Canadian and United States citizenship. She also is of Dominican descent.

She has represented Canada at the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup and at the 2008 Olympics.

LeBlanc played for Boston Breakers in the Women's United Soccer Association and for Montreal Xtreme (2004) and New Jersey Wildcats (2005–06) of the W-League. She played her college soccer at University of Nebraska.

Abby Wambach, American professional soccer player, coach and Olympic gold medalist.

Mary Abigail "Abby" Wambach (born June 2, 1980) is an American professional soccer player, coach and Olympic gold medalist. A four-time winner of the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year award, she has been a regular on the U.S. women's national team since 2003. Wambach currently stands as the third highest all-time goal scorer for the USA Women's National Soccer Team, after Kristine Lilly and Mia Hamm. Wambach currently plays for the Boca Raton magicJack of the Women's Professional Soccer league, and also serves as magicJack's interim coach.

Wambach was born in Rochester, New York and raised in its suburb Pittsford, the youngest of seven children of Pete and Judy Wambach. In her first youth soccer league, she was transferred from the girls' team to the boys' team after scoring twenty-seven goals in only three games. Wambach attended Our Lady of Mercy High School in Rochester, New York, where she lettered in soccer and basketball. Following her high school senior season, she was named to Parade magazine's high school All-America team, and the national Player of the Year by Umbro and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

In 2002, Wambach was the second overall draft pick in the WUSA. She went on to play for the Washington Freedom rather than completing her degree at Florida. Her contributions in Washington, playing alongside Mia Hamm, helped to propel the Freedom to a victory in Founders Cup III (the WUSA championship match), where Wambach was the MVP.

In the Women's Professional Soccer allocation draft for the 2009 season, Wambach was assigned back to the Washington Freedom. She was voted WPS Player of the Week for the week of April 26 (Week 5) after scoring two goals in the Washington Freedom's 4-3 victory over the FC Gold Pride, the Freedom's first victory in the new league. On May 3, 2009, in the Freedom's next game, she received a yellow card for a tackle on St. Louis Athletica midfielder Daniela that left Daniela with two damaged knee ligaments and a crack in the tibia and sidelined her for the rest of the season. Wambach was suspended for one game after the challenge was reviewed by the WPS commissioner. She won the WPS player of the week for the week of July 28 (Week 18) for scoring two goals against the Chicago Red Stars and Sky Blue FC and for the week of Aug 11 (Week 20) for scoring two goals and having one assist against the Sky Blue She ended the 2009 season with eight goals—more than any other American player in the WPS. She returned to the Washington Freedom for the 2010 WPS season, winning the WPS player of the week in week 2 for scoring one goal and having two assists against the Atlanta Beat.

The Washington Freedom, founded in 2001 as part of the Women's Professional Soccer league, relocated to Boca Raton, Florida and became the magicJack in 2011.

On July 22, 2011, Wambach was named the player-coach for the magicJack for the rest of the 2011 WPS season.

On October 26, 2011, the Women's Professional Soccer League Governors voted to terminate the magicJack franchise.




Alex Morgan, American soccer player from Diamond Bar, California.

Alexandra Patricia "Alex" Morgan (born July 2, 1989) is an American soccer player from Diamond Bar, California. She is a forward for the Western New York Flash of Women's Professional Soccer and member of the US Women's National Team. Morgan was the youngest player on the USA's roster at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup.

On January 14, 2011, Morgan was drafted number one overall in the 2011 WPS Draft by the Western New York Flash. She was the first California Golden Bears women's soccer player to be drafted in the first round of Women's Professional Soccer.

Due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury that slowed her progress in 2007, Morgan was not called up to train with the United States under-20 women's national soccer team until April 2008. Her first appearance for the U-20s came at the 2008 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship in Puebla, Mexico, where she scored her first international goal against Cuba.

Morgan was named to the United States U-20 women's national team that competed in the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Chile, scoring a total of four goals in the tournament against France, Argentina and North Korea; her last goal scored against North Korea was subsequently voted the best goal of the tournament, and later FIFA's second-best goal of the year. Morgan's performance on the field earned her the Bronze Shoe as the tournament's third-highest scorer and the Silver Ball as the tournament's second-best player behind teammate Sydney Leroux.

She has been capped by the senior national team, first appearing as a substitute in a match versus Mexico in March 2010, and scored her first international goal after coming on as a substitute against China in October 2010. Her most important goal to date came a month later in a crucial road game against Italy, with a Women's World Cup berth on the line for the United States.

Morgan was on the national team that placed second in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup. She was the youngest player on the U.S. roster. On July 13, 2011, she scored her first FIFA Women's World Cup goal in the 82nd minute of the semi-final matchup against France, giving the USA a 3–1 lead and ultimately, the victory. She scored the first goal (69') in the FIFA World Cup Final against Japan after coming on as a substitute at the half, as well as assisting on the Abby Wambach header (104') for a goal in extra time.





Lauren Cheney, American soccer player, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States

Lauren Nicole Cheney (born September 30, 1987, Indianapolis, Indiana) is an American soccer player and member of the United States women's national soccer team. She is currently a forward for Women's Professional Soccer's Boston Breakers.

Cheney attended Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, where she was a Parade All-American and was named the 2006 Gatorade Player of the Year. She graduated midyear to train full-time with the U.S. U-20 team for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

On January 15, 2010, Cheney was selected by the Boston Breakers with the second overall pick in the WPS Draft. On August 14, 2011 she scored two goals against Sky Blue to take her team to the 2011 WPS playoffs.

Cheney made her first appearance for the senior U.S. women's team on January 26, 2007, against Germany. Cheney, a forward, was named to the U.S. roster for the 2008 Summer Olympics after Abby Wambach was forced to withdraw from the Olympics with a broken leg. She appeared in three games as a substitute. She scored the first goal for the U.S. team in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, against North Korea on June 28, 2011. She scored the first goal and assisted on the winning goal in the semi-final against France on July 13, 2011.

Amy Rodriguez, American soccer forward, born in Beverly Hills, California

Amy Joy Rodriguez (born 17 February 1987, in Beverly Hills, California) is an American soccer forward currently playing for Philadelphia Independence of Women's Professional Soccer and is a member of the United States women's national soccer team.

Rodriguez attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School where she was a Parade All-American in 2003 and 2004 and the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2005. The paternal side of her family is from Cuba.

She was recruited by, and eventually attended, the University of Southern California. During college, she played for the USC Trojans women's soccer team from 2005 through 2008. As a junior in 2007, Rodriguez led the Trojans to the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship. She finished her USC career ranked fourth all-time in goals (31) and points (79).

Rodriguez signed to play with West Coast FC of Women's Premier Soccer League in 2008. However, an injury to Abby Wambach propelled Rodriguez to the United States Women's National Team to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She never appeared for West Coast FC.

Upon her return, the new top-tier women's soccer league in the United States, Women's Professional Soccer, made Rodriguez the first overall pick in the 2009 WPS Draft. Her playing rights were assigned to Boston Breakers. In the inaugural 2009 Women's Professional Soccer season, Rodriguez appeared in 17 matches (11 starts, 982 minutes) and scored 1 goal.

At the conclusion of the 2009 season, it was announced on 29 September 2009 that Rodriguez had been traded to expansion team Philadelphia Independence with Boston's first round selection in the 2010 WPS Draft for Philadelphia's first two selections in the 2010 WPS Draft. With Philadelphia, she was named the WPS Player of the Month for June 2010. In the 2010 season, Rodriguez scored 12 goals and had 6 assists. During the semifinal game, Rodriguez scored in the 120th minute to put Philadelphia past the Washington Freedom.

Rodriguez played for several United States national youth teams, appearing in two FIFA youth championships: the 2004 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship in Thailand and the 2006 FIFA U-20 Women's World Championship in Russia, as well as the 2005 Nordic Cup in Sweden. In total, she's played with the U-17, U-19/U-20 and U-21 programs.

Rodriguez's first appearance for the United States Women's National Team came on 11 March 2005 against Finland in the 2005 Algarve Cup. By the spring of 2008, she had become a regular at forward and started four of five games at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she scored against New Zealand. Rodriguez had appeared in 18 senior team matches going into the Olympics. Rodriguez provided the assist on Carli Lloyd's game winning goal in the first period of extra time in the Gold medal match to clinch the title.





Tobin Heath, American soccer player, born in Basking Ridge, New Jersey

Tobin Powell Heath (born May 29, 1988) is an American soccer player, an Olympic Gold medalist, and a FIFA Women's World Cup Runner-Up. According to United States Soccer Federation, Heath is "perhaps the USA's most skillful player" and is "one of the team's best and most crafty dribblers". Heath usually plays as a flank midfielder or the attacking center midfielder. She was the 1st overall pick in Women's Professional Soccer 2010 draft. She currently plays for Sky Blue FC.

Heath graduated from Ridge High School (New Jersey) in 2006, where she was a Parade All-American in soccer. She also played for the PDA Wildcats team that won the 2003 Club National Championship.

Ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the nation in the Class of 2006 by Soccer Buzz magazine. Four-year letter winner in soccer. Named to the Parade Magazine All-America team in 2005. Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year. Newark Star Ledger's First Team All-State squad. Newark Star-Ledger's New Jersey Player of the Year.

Heath played on the U-16 USA Women's National Team from 2003–2004, with the U-17 team in 2004-05 and with the USA Women's U-20 National Team at the 2006 FIFA U-20 Women's World Championship in Russia. She was a standout at the 2006 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Russia, was one of five players to make the World Cup roster without participating in CONCACAF Qualifying, and was the third youngest player on the World Cup roster. Heath played in 24 matches for the U-20s in 2006, scoring five goals including two in international matches (scored her first international goal at the U-20 level against Canada in April in Brazil). Heath finished her U-20 international career with 14 caps and two goals. Heath started for the silver medal winning USA Women's team in the 2007 Pan American Games in Brazil.

After playing for several U.S. national youth teams, Heath made her first appearance for the senior team on January 18, 2008 against Finland in the Four Nations Tournament. Heath nutmegged a Finland player on her first touches in her first cap. She was a reserve midfielder on the U.S. squad at the 2008 Summer Olympics and was the youngest squad member (age 20). She earned three caps during the tournament where the Women's National Team went on to win the Gold Medal. Heath was one of just three active collegians chosen to play on the U.S. Team at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. In 2008 alone, Heath earned her first 17 caps and scored her first two goals, the first-ever WNT goal against China at the Algarve Cup.
